The cast list of nycHighlights.com will rotate depending on the storyline, the event or product that we are trying to highlight. The main characters work in the Control Room, the Pub and the Loft. Other characters are "day players". The "Trumans" are also actors. All main characters and day players are inserted into storylines and will make the NY fantasy become reality for the "Trumans".
The visiting "Trumans" think they are creating a short highlight video in exchange for inexpensive accomodations and access to certain events. Unbeknownst to them, they are in a live-action internet series and are actual meeting and interacting with unknown cast members while they stay in New York. Hidden mircophones record conversations and security cameras track their location. Their smart devices assist on their whereabouts and cast members will engage the "Trumans" while trying to get their "NYC bucket-list" accomplished. This information will be passed on to the Producers and their job is to make it happen, create the story and produce the highlight video for the "Trumans". In some cases, the cast members are in constant contact with the director, instructions are relayed and conversations are initated. The audience - the internet viewers are witnesses as the events unfold and can participate as well.
In the show, the cast knows exactly what is happening but "Trumans" act as if they have no idea their dream vacation is coming true. The excitement happens and they are about to have the time of their lives. Again, this is all fiction but the nycHighlights.com website is real. nycHighlights and each episode will be posted for all to see.
